West Yorkshire's biggest city, and about as varied as it gets for doors — city-centre apartment blocks, the student terraces of Headingley and Hyde Park, period property in Chapel Allerton, and the older stock out through Kirkstall, Armley and Bramley. Usually there within 30-40 minutes of your call.
The doors round here
City-centre Leeds is mostly flats, and flats have their own rules. You've usually got a communal entrance door you don't control, and then your own flat door — often a fire door with a euro cylinder and a multipoint strip. Landlords and management companies sometimes get funny about changes to the communal side, but your own door is yours.
The student belt — Headingley, Hyde Park, Burley, Woodhouse — is wall-to-wall Victorian back-to-backs and through terraces, heavily rented, with high tenant turnover. The result is a lot of doors where nobody knows how many keys exist. If you've just moved in and the landlord handed you three keys with no explanation, get it changed.
Then Chapel Allerton, Roundhay and the older parts of Kirkstall have proper period property with original timber doors. Those want mortice deadlocks and sympathetic ironmongery, not a modern uPVC solution bodged into a wooden door.

Leeds has an enormous rented sector and keys go walkabout. New tenancy, new locks — front and back done together.
Snapping the cylinder is the go-to method on euro-profile doors. A 3-star anti-snap cylinder is the single cheapest thing you can do about it.
Common on the older Kirkstall and Armley terraces where the lock's been in for decades. I can usually get it out without replacing the lock.
Handle floppy, door not locking unless you shoulder it? That's the multipoint mechanism, and it's a repair rather than a new door.
Shared house with one weak back door is the weak point. Sorting that is usually cheaper than anyone expects.
